Human Health Criteria Technical Working Group

fuse & traverse served as the industry representative on the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation Human Health Criteria Technical Working Group and worked effectively with non-governmental organizations and agency representatives to evaluate water quality criteria.

Community Seed Harvest

We worked with mining companies, Alaska Native landowners, and the Alaska Plant Materials Center to train community members to harvest local seed, used to revegetate disturbed lands. Native, locally adapted seed is expected to improve revegetation in Arctic conditions. Community participants ranged from middle and high school students to village elders.
